dryers

Counterflow dryers have come a long way since we first added a steam heater to a counterflow cooler in 1984. Since then, counterflow dryers have taken over much of the global market for drying of extruded petfood and aquafeed.

coolers

Since inventing the counterflow cooler in 1980, we have delivered well over 10000 coolers to customers worldwide. This technology has truly become the global standard in the feed and food industry.

Counterflow drying and cooling technology is suitable for drying and cooling of granulated, pelleted, extruded, flaked or expanded food or feed products that require the highest standards of sanitation and quality control. You will be able to dry and cool these products with the lowest need for cleaning, the shortest cleaning times and best energy efficiency. The gravity flow principle leads to lower maintenance costs and highest up-time. We would be pleased to tell you about the details in a face to face meeting.

petfood
As preferred supplier of dryers and coolers to the world’s leading petfood producers, we contribute to improved food safety, product quality, energy efficiency and maintenance costs .
aquafeed
Moisture uniformity and energy efficiency is of vital importance for aquafeed. Our counterflow dryers satisfy the highest requirements while minimizing operational costs.
food
Our counterflow dryers and coolers are suitable for breakfast cereals, snack foods, coffee beans, cocoa, chocolate, bread crumbs, couscous, fruits, vegetables, nuts etc..
oilseeds
Drying and cooling of processed soya, rapeseed, sunflowerseed etc. in the shape of expanded collets, meal, pellets or cake, requires 24/7 uptime, often at very high cooling capacities.
feed
Our roots are in feedmills, for which we designed the first of over 10.000 counterflow coolers in 1980. We now have coolers for pellets, extrudate, expandate, crumbles, mash and flakes.

there for you

Our field service team is there for you. From our headquarters, we are connected to your dryer or cooler. We suggest improvements to the energy efficiency or connect remotely to the dryer control system for training and trouble shooting. If necessary our service engineers based in Europe, Asia, North America and Latin America will be there for you.

Geelen insight

All insights

Continuous training of our Field Service team is essential to providing both on-site and remote services to our dryers and coolers. A typical multi-deck batch dryer and cooler control system these days includes hundreds of sensors and drives.
